Pick Your Poison
A downloadable party game
Introduction
In 399 BCE, the great philosopher Socrates was sentenced to drink a fatal cup of toxic hemlock tea. He spent his last hours convincing his disciples that it was good and just to follow through with this state-mandated suicide in what remains one of intellectual history’s most confounding bruh moments.
Now, in Pick Your Poison, you have a chance to pull a reverse Socrates, and see whether you can convince your friends to take a big ol’ sip of hemlock. Marshal all your wits and persuasion to put forth the best argument for tea-related suicide you can, and score big if you come up with a compelling case.
And when your turn to face the hemlock cup arrives, think carefully about whether you can afford not to chug it…
